Privacy policy
How we handle your information.
Effective date: not set yet
This page explains what information this website collects when you visit it or order online, who else receives it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only.
What we collect
When you order online. The checkout asks for what the restaurant needs to prepare your order and reach you about it: your name, phone number and email address, anything you type as special instructions, and a delivery address if you choose delivery. Your order also carries the address of the web page you ordered from and, if you arrived through a link with campaign tags (such as utm_source), those tags. If you create an account on the My Orders page, the ordering system keeps your sign-in details and your past orders so you can see them there. The checkout, and the My Orders sign-up form, may also ask whether you want marketing emails and promotions; that box can already be ticked, so untick it if you don't want them. Your answer goes with your order to the restaurant's ordering system.
Card payments. You type your card details into a payment form that loads from Clover, the company that makes the restaurant's register, and Clover processes the payment.
Visitor counts. We count visits with Umami, a visitor counter that uses no cookies. For each page you open, it records the page's address (without anything after a "?"), its title, the website that sent you, your screen size and language, your browser, operating system and type of device, and your country, region and city, estimated from your internet address. We also count a few actions: tapping our phone number, "Get directions", "Order online" and the app store links, building a bowl, copying a bowl's order, adding a bowl to the cart (with the bowl's estimated price), adding an item to the cart (with its menu section, such as drinks, and its estimated price), and completed or failed online orders (with the order total and the number of items). These counts never include your name, phone number, email address, order number or payment details.
Cookies and your browser. The online ordering add-on sets a session cookie (usually named PHPSESSID) on every page of this website; it keeps your cart while you shop. The ordering pages also save a few things in your browser, such as your My Orders sign-in, a delivery address you picked, a coupon code, and campaign tags from the link you arrived through (for up to 30 days). This website also saves in your browser how many items your cart holds and when it last checked, so the Cart link at the top of each page can show that number. The Google map on the Visit page may set Google's own cookies. Our visitor counter, Umami, sets none.
Who else receives it
Online orders are handled by Smart Online Order for Clover, an add-on made by Zaytech. When you place an order, this website sends it to Zaytech's servers, which pass it to the restaurant's Clover account, where the kitchen sees it. If the checkout asks you to confirm your phone number, the code is sent by text message through Zaytech. The ordering add-on also loads files from other services: from Zaytech and Clover, a script from jsDelivr on every page, and icons from Cloudflare's cdnjs on the ordering pages. Each service your browser loads a file from receives your internet address and details about your browser. Zaytech and Clover handle your information under their own policies: Zaytech's privacy policy and Clover's privacy notice.
Visitor counts are kept by Umami Software, Inc., which runs Umami Cloud. See Umami's privacy policy.
Google. The map on the Visit page is shown by Google Maps, the checkout loads a Google Maps script, and the website's fonts load from Google Fonts. These load from Google when you open those pages, so Google receives your internet address and details about your browser, and the map may use Google's own cookies. Google's privacy policy applies, and the map is also covered by the Google Maps terms.
Links to other websites. We link to our pages on Instagram, Facebook and Yelp, to Google Maps for directions, and to the App Store and Google Play. Those websites receive information about you only if you follow a link to them, and their own policies apply there. The Poké Cube rewards app is a separate app with its own privacy policy, which you can find on its App Store and Google Play pages.
Seeing or correcting your information
To ask what order details we have about you, or to correct them, call the restaurant or stop by (see below). If you created an account on the My Orders page, you can also sign in there.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. When yours does, our visitor counter (Umami) does not count your visits at all. We have not found anything in the online ordering add-on that responds to the signal, and the Google map and Google Fonts follow Google's own practices.
You can also stop being counted in a browser that doesn't send the signal: open stop counting this browser once in that browser. Count this browser again undoes it.
Other companies and other websites
Umami says it uses no cookies and never tracks visitors across websites. Google may collect information about your visit through the map on the Visit page, the Google Maps script at checkout and Google Fonts, as it can on other websites that use them. jsDelivr and cdnjs receive your internet address when your browser loads their files. Zaytech and Clover receive your order details as described above. Websites you go to through our links collect information under their own policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
